Q & A
Who are you?
A French guy looking for jobs and new opportunities as a video game developer.
Living in Paris for now but open to any opportunity overseas. (I lived in Australia for 10 months and loved it) I've been working with Unity since march 2014 and I really enjoy it (except Quaternions, Quaternions are the worst :) ). Before that, I've been a web developer for 5+ years. |
Why did you switch?
I've always been a huge fan of video games. That's why I started study IT in the first place.
The end of my last contract as a web developer left me with the thought that I will never work with people who would really care about what I'm doing and why in that field.
I then decided to switch to the game industry where people are usually way more passionate about what they do. I knew how to code already in PHP or JS so what could go wrong?

Why did you pick Unity? It's the most trendy game engine for now and for good reasons: the community, the ease of use, the continuous updates, the asset store, the documentation and the number of tutorials online. Also CROSS-PLATFORM.
You can build from really simple games like Thomas Was Alone to more elaborate ones like Endless Legend, Wasteland 2 or Night in the Woods. |
What is this website about?
It is primarily a portfolio to have some visibility on the web.
I want to share my thoughts on mostly the video game industry and technologies from time to time on the blog part.
It is as well a way to connect to fellow developers, graphists, the video game industry in general and of course potential employers.
